Giveaway!

I decided to make G for Giveaway since it's the 1 year anniversary of my blog this week.

Comment on this post and you will be entered to win something wonderful.

Something wonderful = $10 Barnes and Noble Gift Card!

Also, I will tuck in a special surprise as well, just for fun. But I'm not telling what it is...you will just have to wait.

A few "rules":

1. You must comment on this post to be entered. Not tomorrows and not my Facebook.
2. You have until Thursday at 9 p.m. to enter. By commenting on THIS POST.
3. Winners will be announced Friday morning. Those that commented on THIS POST will be entered. Thank you and good luck!

I know it's not the greatest prize ever, but it's only my 1st anniversary on here so cut me some slack.

Question:
If you could pick the special surprise, what would it be?

  1. A B&N card? done and done, consider me entered yo! I could buy a book! do you even know the luxury hidden therein? That's always been one of those things that I LOVE to indulge in, but can never quite convince myself to spend the money on. Because I could just go to the library. Even though I never end up there. it is indeed a fantastic prize, don't sell yourself short!

    1. Woo-hoo! I was worried there for a minute...almost thought I would have to keep the gift card. Whew. I go to the library weekly, but mostly for books I'm unsure about.

  2. I second Kp's "a B&N card is luxurious." For the same reasons. Books are expensive lovelies these days; I covet them often but also think, "I could go to the library instead and spend the $9.95 on sandwich fixings." Because feeding your kids is priority over feeding your fiction fetish, I guess.

Congrats on one year for your blog, as well!

    1. Yea! Thanks for putting your name in =)! I'm the same way...I guess feeding the kids should be a priority over books. But buying new books is so darn fun.

  3. I would say the special surprise if I picked it would be non gmo veggie seeds, so that people could grow their own food, and not have to worry about what they're feeding their family.

    2. Hi, I'm a random comment stalker with no friends around here that garden so I have to nose in here and ask - have y'all heard of Cucamelons/ have you tried them? They look fun/ super kid friendly and I'm tempted to order some seeds for them but I don't know how easy they are to cultivate.

    3. I've never heard of those. Now you are going to have me hunting on google for what I want to garden this year. I would say just go for it. I'm not a great gardener to ask. I just dig a hole, plant the seed and hope for the best. Then I'm all surprised when nothing grows.

    1. I know, you think that bowl of cereal would cover it for the day, but nooooooo. Bossy kids want lunch AND dinner too. Brats. =) Thanks for putting your name in!

  5. Danielle, congrats on the anniversary. That's quite an achievement you've reached there. How are you going to celebrate???

Honestly, the B&N gift card is an awesome prize. A book store is like a candy store for me, and $10 worth of candy is something to be excited about.

Keep up the good work so I can enter for next year's giveaway also!!

    1. Thanks. This is my celebration. By giving presents to those that stop by and read my ramblings!

I think that if bookstores and candy stores combined, I would never leave.

      Thank you =)

  7. Congrats on your one year anniversary! I love Barnes and Noble gift cards, because I love adding more books to my library! For the special surprise, chocolate's always wonderful too.

    1. Woo-hoo! This is what I'm talking about. Books + chocolate = never leaving my house again.

  8. Wow, it's great to be surrounded by all these book nerds! I'm not alone or as strange as my husband says. I was just going through my book cupboard last night and silently coveting all of the pretty books I have to read and wondering when I could get more. It's an addiction I tell you.
As for the question on the special surprise- If I win, I would like that special surprise to be videos of your kids. I don't get to see them enough and would love to watch some funny clips of them.

    1. Ooh videos of my kids? That might be scary, but I'm sure I have some good ones I could share =).

  9. Honestly, if I won, I'd tell you to use the gift card for yourself. I only have a blind cat to look after. You have 3 kids! You DESERVE a new book! (And, no, I'm not trying to suck up.)

And a special treat? No matter who wins, I want you to write a post about them. That's right! "But enough about me. What do you think about me?"

    1. Well, that was seriously nice of you to say! Poor blind cat...

Oooh a post about the winner? I could probably do that =). It would give me the much needed practice for my writing skills.

  10. Hmmm...a special surprise. A poster of angry cat from facebook? Just kidding. The Barnes and Noble is awesome enough!!

  12. I would like to win! I hope this isn't like the sweepstakes where you enter and suddenly are plagued by a crap load of new SPAM email. But I think I'm safe on this one...Unless you plan on selling this mass email list you are collecting to some company. Uh-oh. If I'm going to get more spam, can I at least win? Oh - pretty please?

Even if no spam is involved, can I please win? It would break my record of never winning a give-away! Oh pretty please! ...and I couldn't tell my kids I won because they would just want me to spend it on a book for them!

My special suprise??? Something handcrafted by YOU! You are always making the greatest things. Especially the sock animal thing you posted with googly eyes. I'd really just buy one.

    2. No spam! I wouldn't even know how to do that =). Just presents here! And thanks for that compliment about my handmade stuff! I've seen what your daughter does and it looks as though she's got the crafting bug too =)

I LOVE comments...except bad ones. You can keep the bad ones. Or maybe disguise them as nice ones. I know people that are really good at that.
